문법 Korean Grammar in Use Intermediate 2

1) ~(으)ㄹ 까 봐 -> This expression indicates that the speaker did, or is doing, the action in the following clause out of worry or fear that the situation or action in the preceding clause has occurred or will occur
예) 시험이 어려울까 봐 열심히 공부하고 있어요

2) ~다고 한던데 -> to hear that ...
예) 한강에서 불꽃놀이 축제를 한다고 하던데 같이 안 갈래요?

3) ~다면서요? -> Checking what you heard previously from a third party or other source

4)~다니요? -> This expression is used when the speaker is surprised by or cannot believe what another person has said

5) ~(으)ㄹ까 하다 -> vague intention or rough plan

6) ~(으)려던 참이다 -> this expression is used to express the fact that not only had the speaker been intending to do the very ting the other person is suggesting, but that he or she was either just about to do it at that very moment or intended to do so very soon. Only with verbs
예) 가: 수영 씨 뭐 하고 있어요?
나: 커피를 마시려던 참이었는데 같이 마실레요?

7) ~(으)ㄹ 겸 + (으)ㄹ 겸 -> This expression is used to indicate the speakers intentions to do at least two actions or behaviors
예) 한국어를 배울 겸 영어를 가르칠 겸 한국에 왔어요
